Internship Details
The International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY) has an internship available at its office in Berlin, to start as soon as possible.
IFLRY is an international youth organization seeking to globalise freedom in the world. IFLRY holds consultative status with several United Nations organs and is a vital player in the Council of Europe-youth sector. IFLRY is one of the oldest international liberal youth organization in the world, founded in 1947.
The intern will be working closely with IFLRY’s Executive Director, and will be mainly responsible for IFLRY’s joint projects with the Council of Europe, the Center Party Foundation of Sweden, and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. Role Overview
Project Implementation, Event Management, Financial & Administrative Management, Knowledge Management
Core Responsibilities
- Manage logistics for projects and events assigned.
- Serve as a point of contact for event participants.
- Ensure all documents required for donor reporting are collected and organized in Google Drive timely.
- Help with book-keeping and updating financial records for audits.
- Perform any other tasks and duties as required to support office operations.
Requirements
- Near-native or native English skills. Additional languages are considered an asset.
- Digital proficiency in productivity software and applications.
- Proven experience in project management, event organization, or accounting is an asset.
- Preferably working towards or completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience with Xero, Canva, or graphic design software is a significant benefit.
- Valid right to work in Germany as we cannot sponsor work visas.
