Pool of trainers
Building Capacity Through Training and Innovation
The Pool of Trainers (PoT) Programme is IFLRY's dedicated capacity-building initiative, providing expert training in leadership, advocacy, organizational development, and much more. Grounded in the principles of Non-Formal Education (NFE), the programme fosters interactive peer learning, creativity, and continuous skill development through international and local training activities.
What the Programme Does
The Pool of Trainers is an active, dynamic programme that goes beyond simply delivering workshops. Our work includes:
- Training Coordination We liaise closely with the Secretary General and the IFLRY secretariat to provide trainers for our seminars, General Assemblies, regional events, and thematic programme activities. This ensures high-quality, professionally facilitated learning experiences across all IFLRY activities.
- Knowledge Development The PoT actively builds new knowledge and training methodologies, staying at the forefront of Non-Formal Education developments. We continuously refine our approaches, develop new training modules, and incorporate the latest insights in youth education and capacity building.
- Ongoing Learning Opportunities We organize monthly online trainings and webinars for our trainers and the wider IFLRY community, creating spaces for skill-sharing, professional development, and collaborative learning across borders.
- Supporting Member Organisations Our trainers don't just facilitate workshops, they also support member organizations with grant applications, project proposals, and organizational development strategies, helping to strengthen liberal youth movements worldwide.
